What can my character do?This question is rather unclear. There are a few questions pertaining to it that can be made to form a subset. Without combat-related skills?Well, unless your character has a combat related skill, they can only do what a normal person would be able to do without it. That is, throw a punch, kick, block, and maybe perform minor acrobatics. Other than that, you must have the skill to do other things. Without science-related skills?Ah, this is far more steep than combat. Without the science-related skills, you won't be able to build or perform scientific inventions or feats. Just like you wouldn't know how to balance chemicals from the get-go unless you studied it, you will need to learn how to do so via training or learning from other characters of higher expertise. Without skills in encyclopedic knowledge?Chances are, you won't know about the things that go on. Encyclopedic skills do not so much pertain as to what you retain, but they mean how you can apply it. This means knowledge in magical application will help the user be able to apply magic to their weapons and other things that lack it. Without skills in craftsmanship? You won't be able to craft things. At all.

How do you feel about heroes?
How do we feel? We love them! You daring do-gooders are why people believe in peace and tranquility! Crusaders of justice and peace, or simply those who wish to save lives, are perfectly acceptable here. Let it be known that heroes are pretty common, but good ones are a ripe apple in the bunch.
Now, this won't stop us from making your character's life hard, nor does it exclude you from contempt. A hero is an incredible person, able to overcome adversity and scorn with the will to protect, or simply do what he/she has set out to do. Even villains have heroes they look up to! Why would you want the easy way out, anyways; it's far more rewarding and satisfying to go in for the long-haul.
UnFa is a game of fantasy, strength, society, conflict, and ambition.

What is the Magic v. Technology rule?
The overall rule that states that, no matter the level of magic or technology, no one person is above the other. This is made to limit the sense of superiority some believe magic has over technology. Read this page on the wiki to find out more information.

How do I win?You can't. Unreal Fantasy is not a game of black-and-white; the possibilities are as boundless as one could ever possibly imagine. This game is an open ceiling, with little boundaries on what you can do. Thus, there are no right or wrong choices. This is because all things dealing with character choice has both a positive and negative effect, no matter how large or small. This question is rather unclear. There are a few questions pertaining to it that can be made to form a subset. Do some players have an advantage over another?Indeed, some are. However, do not let this deter you; many of them are successful in the sense that they have probably been on the forums longer, and thus have completed some of their goals; have taken on specialized roles; have posted much more than some others, thus maximizing their opportunities; and have capitalized on said opportunities. Many of them have been persistent, keeping track with what they want from their characters. Not taking no for an answer, overcoming daunting obstacles, and having the tenacity to succeed is always a way to have an edge. How do I get better? This is incredibly subjective for many. However, all can agree that a direct way to become better is through two things: seizing opportunities by short hairs and learning the feeling of failure. Having experience and taking risks are what make the game fun. If you stay passive, you will not learn. Increase the amount of contact your character has on others; having a hermit mute that likes to distance himself will not yield the most groundbreaking results (lest you bomb the emperor, which will more often than not result in heavy backlash). Can my character die?Oh, most definitely! It is up to the staff whether your character is on "Death Row", which is where your character is to be killed off. However, you can also state when your character dies.
