Snow Ariana Nothing is better than a few pints of ale, a loaded .45, and a
good night of carnal dancing. Digging variables, binary parses, and gun jamming fixes. Snow was never at a loss for what could be the issue in her life. Working as a self-employed engineer, working to build things for those who paid, often yielded the best results for her. She was never at a loss for money, living comfortably in a relatively large house. Her fortune was the result of being good in her work, something not many could attest to these days in her opinion.
However, even the best hands needed rest once in a while. Thus, the brunette decided that while she was in the capital, she would sit and have a relaxing time in the cafe. It was a nice place, quiet but also festive. Enough to bring a smile to her otherwise stoic and ever-serious face. A good place to let her mind wander, going into reveries of her next building project.
She's had enough of failed projects. They always seemed to worsen her mood, situations never ceasing to blow out of proportion - quite literally. "I hope it won't explode, this time..." she muttered to herself. Seriously, the last time nearly cost her a face. Good thing modern medicine cures all, despite having a scar on her cheek from the ordeal.
Looking to her mug of coffee, she began to take a sip. "To failed inventions," she said, leaning back. Okay, she'd admit it, sometimes it was fun to watch them explode.

Aevis Central - In a Swanky Cafe
Late Morning "People and their beverages, they'll do anything for them." *In steps Nyx* On average, people spend more time drinking than they do eating. I had needed a break, a break from my work, a break from my city. I was never one for visiting, let alone sitting down and having a cup in a cafe, but I needed it today. "You're always so defiant Nyx." Meifang said in my head. I replied to her, but silently, "And you need to calm down, you've known me for too long." The cafe had the mixed smells of coffee cake, bread and flower scents. Disgusting. This place sure did get a lot of business, it was no shock that the place was well put together, what shall I have? "Excuse me sir," I said to the waiter, "Yes ma'am?" he said back, he had the kind of smile that said 'I love my job!', yeah right. "I'll have a cup of coffee, medium, 4 sugars please." I was handing him the money and he took it, "Sure thing, coming right up." |

Snow Ariana Nothing is better than a few pints of ale, a loaded .45, and a
good night of carnal dancing. Snow's day of relaxation was soon finding itself crumbling before her. Looking at her PDA, she made to check on her newest invention. The foundry down in her workshop delivered instant messages to her, allowing her the ability to monitor her work even from across the continent. It was a very useful thing to have in the event she ever strayed from the lab.
The message presented to her, however, was a baleful warning. Flashed across the screen was a message of 'Unknown obstacle encountered. Processes ceased until manual reactivation.' The woman glared intensely into the PDA. "Fuck," her curse was under her breath, but the seethe was palpable. "This is fantastic."
Running a hand through her hair, she looked to the front of the cafe. Her scowl fixed on a figure, quite familiar in its appearance. "Wait..." she said. "Nyx!" she called out to the woman who was stationed at the register. Just in time, the very person she was working for was in her place of rest. |

Aevis Central - In a Swanky Cafe
Late Morning A very nice cafe on a very pleasant morning. "Are you enjoying your day Nyx?" Meifang said to me, "I should be back at my base, researching and getting ready for tonight," I replied to her, "I never should've left." "But Nyx, a break now and again will help to ease your mind so that you are not cluttered with thoughts and anger." Nyx, closed her eyes to see Meifang in her mind, "While that maybe true Meifang, anger, is all that I hold with me. Just then, the waiter came back with my order and my sugar packets. "Here you are ma'am," he said to me, "One medium coffee and 4-sugars, enjoy!" he finished with a smile and went to help someone else. The smell of the coffee ran through my nose, ahh, beautiful. "We can leave now, if you want too." Meifang had said to me, I was about to reply when I heard an all too familiar voice. "Nyx!" the voice shouted out. A kind of, girly voice, the kind of voice trapped inside of a lab for 36-hours never to see the light on day. Snow, it had to be snow. I turned to look to her, she always had nice hair, and of course her gadgets. "Snowy, how've you been?" I said cracking a slight smile. |

Snow Ariana Nothing is better than a few pints of ale, a loaded .45, and a
good night of carnal dancing. Snow was pleasantly surprised that the woman recognized her so easily. After all, everyone claimed that the brunette was a ghost who locked herself up in a lab for the bulk of her life - not that they were wrong in their assumption. She found her lab, sitting in front of her immense circuitry and complexities was far more interesting than simply socializing with others.
Then again, she and Nyx were mostly business partners. No real friendship had ever been stated between the two. "Glad you're here," she extended a hand to the chair in front of her. That didn't mean she couldn't be pleasant to her.

Late Morning Aren't you just a ray of sunshine. It has been a while since I had seen Snow. Snow was the type of girl, like me, that would indulge herself into her work. She would spend hours and hours in her lab, perfecting and crafting new and improved tools for her line of work and for other uses. Every now and again I would ask for her help in making something that I would need, she never fails to impress. "Glad you're here." Snow said to me as she extended her hand out, she was being so nice. I looked at her hand for a brief second, "It's nice to see you too Snow," I said as I shook her hand. "Have you finished what I asked you to?" |

"Let's open up the windows and let life loose" ~ "Woow, so this is a cafe?" a rosy-haired Linzin awed at the successful establishment, taking in its appearance as he walks in through the door. This is the first time Miharu has ever been to such a place of socialization and amiable presence. The lovely and delicious scents of fresh bakery goods and the weird refreshment known as coffee makes the Linzin's mouth water fervently. The variety of people makes the general atmosphere much more welcoming. Miharu just couldn't wait to try the food!
Walking forward, Miharu glances and looks around the cafe for a possible place to sit. What catches his eye is the sight of a certain brunette he's met with before. "Snow!" the name runs by his mind in an instant. Miharu met with Ms. Ariana before during his monthly departure to Terra, delivering Draconean goods to a merchant named Reynold Jogen. Some thugs were messing with Mr. Jogen and the newly-stocked goods and Miharu came to his defense. Snow aided Miharu in fending off the thugs when he was beginning to get overwhelmed, making Miharu grateful to her ever since then.
Honestly, he never would have thought she would see her again; it has been two months since the incident. However, Miharu has recently come to stay in Terra to explore more of Spera. Now he can probably have a relationship with her... on friendly terms.
He begins walking up towards her and... another girl? "Maybe she's a friend of Snow's," Miharu inquired to himself. Perhaps he probably develop a friendship with her as well!
"Hey there, Snow!" Miharu called out to the brunette. "Oh, and hello there!" he also made sure to greet the other female; it would seem rude not to. |
