A soundwave came bellowing out from Gaustions' mouth and hit the ground before me and my men. So foolish, attempting to cause a distraction in attempt to give your guards enough time? Wise, but foolish. All the same. "I've engaged the targets. All Vanguard members to my position!" Gaustion yelled into the communicator as he fled from the scene, he would let his guards to the work for him.
We stood and watched as the Vanguard created a perimeter around us, how dare they underestimate us? Do they not know, who we are? "Stay sharp men, this is only the beginning." I said to my men. "Sir," one of my commanders said to me, "We are ready, we can escape without casualties." "Death, is always an option in my book general, you know this." I turned and said to him. "We will fight and take as many of them down if we must, if--" I was cut short, I heard a ship approaching. The consul judge and Selene. How cute, they're coming for their precious leader.
"Men!," I yelled to them, "E-R-A, formation 67!" we began to burn the ground around us, first as a circle and then to the surrounding plants. We were completely surrounded in flames, there was no penetrating this.

I was still wary on the whole situation, something is going on and Gaustion leaving like that, isn't helping. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see the Palace as we approached it. A guard told something to Selene, and she responded and gave an order, “I need all soldier-personnel to gather immediately to the main hull! Arm yourselves, for we are most likely about to take on a foe that endangers Lord Gaustion’s life!” I could somehow tell that she wanted me to understand this order.
I thought to myself, this is getting too choppy, we must act, to preserve our justice. I walked up to Selene, eyes firmly locked onto her, voice firm but shaky. "Selene," I said, "Get me my scythe."
